This study explores the news framing of A.I., China, and U.S.A. in two mainstream outlets: The Washington Post South China Morning Post. main objective is to analyse how both, as parts different discourse cultures, portray competition for leadership A.I. innovation between takes a critical look at media on ‘new arms race’ what role play localising global technology trends. empirical part makes use combination manual automated content analyses.
